It was a dark night, when Fella and his friends had gone door to door for sweets. With their bags filled with goodies, they sat by the neighborhood's lake and devoured the candy.
Suddenly, a figure was floating towards them on a raft. When it hit shore, they saw it was a man with long blond hair and beard and a tunic over a set of chainmail armor.
Fella, with his Viking costume, noticed and picked up a sword in the person's hands and waved around with it.
Without warning the sword began to glow.
Another figure appeared in the mist, one much larger. A longship hit land with a thump and hundreds of eyes glared down on the party. The ghoulish horde leaped towards the group.
The friends ran towards the streets.
Torches were tossed at houses and churches and doors were kicked by the cruel Norsemen. Screams could be heard everywhere.
The sky lit up and the invaders looked up to the sky as a godlike appearance made the scene.
"Mortals of Midgard, I am Odin, the Allfather."
The sea of flames' light was reflected upon his face.
"The gods shall rage upon you for your abandonment of your faith."
It was then she woke up. The nightmares had not been there for decades. She had grown old since they took her with them as a child and friend of Fella. It was now a long time ago since Earth was taken by the Norse gods.
